About Together Britain Collective – LGBT Division
Who we are and what we do.
Who we are
Together Britain Collective – LGBT Division is a dedicated subgroup of Together Britain Collective that centres LGBT+ voices in our movement. We are volunteers, members, and supporters who believe in equality, inclusion, and a fairer Britain for everyone.
We work within the national TBC structure to shape policy, run events, and connect with LGBT+ communities and organisations — including Pride, student groups, and local initiatives.
Our aims
We exist to ensure that LGBT+ lived experience is reflected in Together Britain Collective’s policies and campaigns. That means:
- Advocating for equality, non-discrimination, and inclusive public services
- Supporting health, mental health, and wellbeing for LGBT+ people
- Backing inclusive education and safe environments for all
- Amplifying LGBT+ voices in civic engagement and democratic participation
- Building links with LGBT+ organisations and community groups
We are part of Together Britain Collective — a community-first civic movement building a fairer Britain.
What we do
- Contribute to national policy development on equality, health, education, and civic engagement
- Organise and support events, meet-ups, and outreach to LGBT+ communities
- Connect with Pride events and LGBT+ organisations across the UK
- Welcome new members and volunteers into the division and the wider movement
